Glory Ann Hodges Ross Obituary
Services for Glory Ann Ross, 33, of Irving, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Farris Whitehead will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 25, 1975, in Cleburne, Texas, to David Hodges and Linda Myers Point.
Glory Hodges Ross, our beloved daughter, sister and mother went to be in peace with the Lord on Feb. 19, 2008. She will be remembered as a loving and vivacious individual who was very passionate about life. She greatly loved her family and friends. Her various talents included painting, illustrating, writing and photography. Glory had a caring heart. She volunteered at Cook Children’s Hospital, helping children with cancer and their parents. She also volunteered at her daughter’s school for several years. Glory was an accomplished black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was responsible for many successful endeavors in the fashion industry. Glory was greatly loved and will be missed.
Glory is survived by her daughter, Kayli Ross of Bedford; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Darrell Point of Glen Rose; father and stepmother, Dave and Paula Hodges of Cleburne; sisters, Amber Pfaff of The Woodlands and Lorie Hodges of Cleburne; maternal grandmother, Gladys Myers of Cleburne; paternal grandmother, Jan Hodges of Mesa, Ariz.; stepbrothers, Darrell Point Jr. of Granbury, Donnie Point of Glen Rose and Tony Point of Glen Rose; stepsister, Diana Wilie, of Cleburne;
fiancé, Landon Roberts, of Irving; ex-husband, James Ross, of Bedford; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. |
